Swamp Fox Lanes

Absolutely my favorite place to take my family for a great time bowling. Swamp Fox Lanes is a family owned and operated bowling alley. Full service pro shop, good food, nice arcade games, pool tables, separate bar area, and a great atmosphere. They even have a comedy night with a various professional comedians. If your a burger person the I highly recommend you try the Iron Man Burger, delicious!

I rolled at Swamp Fox for the first time last Friday. Brand new lanes were great . The House is very much like a small family atmosphere. The House really appreciates the Ballers and the achievements of their games posted above each lane is that Lanes high score by that individual. I took a picture of my team mate Tyler Hill , so you can see the brand new lanes and the scores posted above each lane. Also Swamp Fox went all out on the Halloween decorations !!!! I will post our final scores picture to. Also would like to thank the staff for helping me out with the scoring and adding names and Blind bowlers ! Did not get the chance to get her name but she wore a AC/DC shirt last Friday night and the other staff member wore a Shirt that read Hawaii 77. 👍🏻☺️😉thank y’all so much for the help. Look forward to rolling with y’all again .

I’ve been to this place multiple times and have never been impressed, i decided to try it again tonight because my friend invited me out for some bowling, i (22 years of age) went to the bar and asked for a bud light and a shot i immediately had my id ready since for one i am young and for two am myself a bartender and know how the game goes, the bartender, jasmine, took my id behind the bar as if it was fake and asked for second form of id which i then informed her it is illegal to Carry two separate forms of identification on you when not traveling but i did have my credit and debit card which i allowed her to look at and then stated i had my social security card which she asked me to look at which is illegal and i showed her i had it but would not physically give her the card because that is not necessary, she still tried to refuse me service saying she thought my id was fake in which i responded i could call the local police and have them scan my id to show her it was in fact real, she then told me she would contact the owner and see what they would like her to do, which i responded if i could speak to a manager or boss and she told me i couldn’t. I then went to the front desk told the employees about the issue which they responded they were so sorry for and this is a regular thing with her and they would try to help me the best they could, which led one of them approaching the owners wife about this issue to which she told them she was only owner by marriage and didn’t want to be approached about issues unless they were emergent. then her coworker, who i had just serviced before at a local bar that i tend at the night prior, which keep in mind you have to at least be 21 years of age to bartend in the state of South Carolina, finally took my id, took a photo of it which is also illegal , and then served me stating i “better not screw her over.” I got my drinks and went on about my business i then returned about 20 min later to order another drink which is when the bartender stated “i told my husband if she comes back for another drink i know she’s real” clearly i am a human and not a robot so i don’t know exactly what she meant by that statement but let it slide, then i ordered and 8” pizza which even if a pizza is not frozen and freshly made should take at most 40 min AT MOST. My pizza took well over an hour which i soon noticed that the two kitchen staff were partaking in what i would call fraternization in the work place and pda which could clearly be seen through the open kitchen window and when i stated maybe if they weren’t so busy back there kissing each other my pizzas would be made promptly the bartender whose name is jasmine i believe who is the original one who started the issues stated if i didn’t lose my atttiude i would be asked to leave. A few minutes later i was outside hitting my vape when the young girl who was supposed to be kitchen staff but seemed to be more on a date came outside and asked my friend if he had a “weed pen she could hit.” I wasn’t quite suprised by her actions at the point giving everything else that had happened within the 2 1/2 hours i was there. I am not pleased with any of my experiences here whatsoever and highly don’t recommend wasting your time or money at this place. I will be contacting the better businesses bureau, about this place as soon as the weekend is over and time permits.

Let me just say, if you're looking for a fancy bowling alley, this is not it. It's definitely the homey-been-around-for-years type of establishment. With that being said, if you're looking for a place for a family outing that's low cost and not overly crowded, perfect place. We went on Saturday evening and it wasn't crowded. There was a family in the lane to the right of us but no one on our left, which was great. We got bumpers and the dinosaur on one lane for the kids and a regular lane for the adults. Was able to find balls just fine. We had like an hour wait for some nachos which was ridiculous but there was only one cook and he was filling orders in order, of course. All-in-all we had a really good time and will probably be back despite the look & feel and long wait on food.

The Strode Family (and I do mean Family- you may find 3 generations working there at any given time), have invested tons of time and money updating their center, and it shows! League play is really up, and so is open bowling - to say nothing of their monthly comedy nights. If you're looking for some family fun, try Swamp Fox😀 …
